Thanks for your reply @nopick , I was using Slic3r and someone suggested me to switch to Cura, I did so and I was able to print on the first try, but you are right, it seems that the first layers did not attach well to the surface (I covered the surface with UHU and still that was not enough)...

What's a normal layer height? I'm trying to print the Bonsai Planter https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:430957 But this is what I get (see picture below). This is the first time I print anything. Material is ExcelFil ABS 1.75mm. Any Advice is more than welcome, I'm lost.

I got a used gMAX and was testing it, I have no experience with 3D printing at all, I plan to get started with this, I printed 2 samples that were no good and by the time I tried to print the third one the displayed changed the max temp to zero and displayed the MAXTEMP error. That happened 2 or...
