Nothing displays on LCD screen

I just received my new gMax 1.5+ XT. I unboxed it and it does not look damaged but when I power it on the screen turns on but nothing is displayed. Doesn't matter if the SD card is inserted or now. Any ideas?

Ribbon cable most likely came loose. Remove the back cover on the LCD housing and check that the ribbon cables have come unplugged.
