What filaments can you print with.

Did you guys buy the Bowden or Direct addon to the E3D V6? I have no idea what that means.

I have the new 1.5xt on order but have been reading the forum ahead of time and seeing how much people are having trouble printing. Then again, ppl only post when they have trouble. It seems like the E3D should be the new standard for all current orders. *shameless Hint* to Gordon and Ana, the silent partner. *end Hint*

Some E3D mod from the forum for reference:

Instead of modifying the fan shroud, I just extended the holes on the light bar holder and screwed an 80mm fan to that. I don't have an LED light bar so no interference there. Then you have all the space you need for the E3D's each with a dedicated cooling fan.

Mike, you'd just be buying the normal direct kit. Bowden is when the drive motor is remotely located from the hotend, not the case here.

I agree, I'm never again using jHeads and have multiple E3Ds on order.

Guys, if at all possible everyone should switch to the new 1.5 extruder carriage. All the issues being discussed here are resolved with the new design.
