Wires Fell In The Way Of Print

Good Evening All,

Curious if anyone has printed any large cable retention of somesort for their G-Max 1.5xt+. Long story short I was printing a large print and the large mesh of cables on my Gmax decided to land on top of my print and cause it to fail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated from what I can see all my zip ties are tight but I can always add more I suppose if no one has anything I can print to help resolve this.

m guessing you tape the round part to the printer frame and either loop around the mesh or tape to the mesh?

The clip on the top will attach to the 80/20 and the keyring can attach to one of the zipties

Glad I asked don't make sense to reinvent the wheel. Apperantly I rarely print large prints to run into this now. Also if one person had this problem I'm not the first won't be the last.

Did you design some parts to connect the cable chain to the 1.5xt+?

It sure would be nice to be able to retrofit my 3 month old 1.5xt+ for a cable chain. The x axis cable bundle on the 1.5xt+ is worrisome. I am waiting for the retractable badge holders I ordered from Amazon. Rube Goldberg would be proud.

No, I didn't take it off the gmax 2, had them way before the 2 was announced.
Yes I designed the parts. Easy to do in Sketchup.
