We will be adding filaments to this list as we use and experiment with them. We have already tested over 50 filaments and try new ones all the time.

PLA
One of the easiest filaments to use and experiment with. PLA is known as the "biodegradable" filament since its base is from corn. PLA typically curls less than ABS and prints at a lower temp. It generally has little or no odor and is one of the safest materials to print with. PLA is widely available and great as a general use material if strength or special qualities aren't required. A heated bed is not required for PLA and it can be printed straight on acrylic (recommended).
[tr_red]Manuf.ColorDifficultyHotend Temp (1st Layer, Others)Bed TempNotes On FilamentWebsite[/tr_red]

ABS
Generally, ABS is stronger than PLA but more difficult to use. It typically requires a heated bed and warps more PLA. ABS also risks splitting as the print gets higher so you may want to increase the perimeter count and infill density. ABS also emits some unpleasant fumes so room ventilation is highly recommended. You should typically print much slower than PLA with little or no cooling and at a higher temp (around 20C more than PLA).
[tr_red]Manuf.ColorsDifficultyHotend Temp (1st Layer, Others)Bed TempNotes On FilamentWebsite[/tr_red]

Speciality Filaments
Flexible, color changing and other special filaments. These filaments can be difficult to print with and experimentation may be required.
[tr_red]Manuf.TypeDifficultyHotend Temp (1st Layer, Others)Bed TempNotes On FilamentWebsite[/tr_red]

Anyone tried MeltInk3D PLA/PHA?

I have been using this for printing 2 models and it is not as good as PLA/PHA by Colorfabb, but for the price and USA availability, it's not bad at all. Printing is recommended by manufacture at 220-230C.

Thank you,

Hadi
