Is the gMax suitable for printing ProtoPasta PLA Carbon?

#1
I will be purchasing a large format 3-d printer for prototyping and would like to print Proto Pasta PLA Carbon, but I have heard that it will eat up the bronze nozzle very quickly. Also will I need the heated base to print that?
Is there another material I could print with that has similar properties but easier to print? I will be printing paddles and hydrofoils and I need something structurally sound. As I am new to this I something not to difficult to work with.

Any tips or links for information appreciated.
