How to replace a Stepper Driver on your gMax 2
If you need to replace your Stepper driver, here's how!
Step 1:
Power down the machine and unplug it the power supply
Step 2:
Unscrew the Electronics Case Cover
Step 3:
Locate the Stepper Driver in need of replacing
Step 4:
Get a secure grip of the driver
Step 5:
Pull out the stepper driver (Might need to shimmy it)
Step 6:
Take your new Stepper Driver and make sure you orient it the correct way. The potentiometer should be facing away from the LCD screen.
Step 7:
Position the Stepper Driver on top of the slots, making sure that all pins are properly aligned.
Step 7:
Push the Stepper Driver straight down into the slots.
Step 8:
Screw back on the Electronics Case Cover and plug back in the Power supply.
Happy Printing!
