What does the ethernet cable plug into?

Hi all, just trying to get a better idea of how the gMax, works, when looking through the parts list and im a bit confused as to what the Ethernet cable plugs into at the back of the extruders? Is it some sort of board that comes with the ramps kit?

Ah thanks for info, so essentially its just supplying power to those components?

12v and ground for LED light.
PWM 12v power and ground for controlled cooling fan speed.
The other 4 are for 1 (single) or 2 (dual) thermistors.
